HDS-CANTERCUT Chipper Canter – with multiple resharpenable HDS-Knife System!
This time heads were designed and are already successfully in use for a Belgian sawmill chain. They are 4-edged / 3-staged with cutting depth of approx. 185 mm.
Another costumer is extremly pleased with support and this HDS-system.

In March 2021, we expanded our sales team with a new office colleague. We are pleased to present Nadine Ghabali-Szymiczek, a new face for the division knives / system components. As the successor to Edina Müller, she takes on this interface function between you and our application engineers in the field.
For several years Nadine Ghabali-Szymiczek has been working in the distribution. Not least because of her experience, we are convinced that she is a competent and trustworthy sales colleague, who will also expand and cultivate personal contact with you.

As in the past occasionally cutter heads are produced for various sawmills by HDS, the CANTERCUT chipper canters are now nearly a series product.
During the last years, we were in the position to realize projects for prestigious companies in Germany, Austria, Latvia and in the Russian market.
Last but not least, we delivered cutter head units to Bavaria/Germany and Slovakia at the end of the year 2019, which are already successfully in use.
Currently we are producing nearly contemporaneous cutter heads for sawmills in Rheinlad-Pfalz and Thüringen / Germany etc.
Amongst other things, HDS CANTERCUT chipper canters are produced for systems of machine manufacturers like Linck, EWD, SAB, Söderhamn, Veisto HewSaw and Prechtl.

16th International exhibition of equipment and technologies for woodworking and furniture production.
Woodex is Russia’s leading international industry event where well-known manufacturers and suppliers demonstrate their latest equipment and technologies for woodworking, furniture production and wood waste utilisation.
To expand and modernize our machinery, this years´ 5th new machine was delivered and discharged at HDS by a heavy-duty crane last week.
Once again it deals with a modern 5-axis machining center with automatic tool measuring in the integrated magazine.
As soon after the setup operations for the production of sawmill tools such as circular saw blades, knives or system components will be carried out here.

More than just making a cut … ThermoCut Sawmill knives – The Red Ones
We offer ThermoCut style sawmill knives for normal operating conditions, but also specifically for use in dirty wood or in severe climates such as processing very dry or frozen wood. The special heat treatment modifies the hardness, bending strength and fracture resistance for extreme conditions.
Recognizable are our ThermoCut by their reddish discoloration!
